We are a small counseling office in downtown Mexico, MO, that provides individual, marriage, and family therapy for all ages.All three therapists utilize cognitive-behavioral approach which works toward making connections between thought processes and behaviors. The purpose of the organization is to increase awareness among public and professional communities about the emotional changes that women experience during pregnancy and postpartum. Approximately 15% of all women will experience postpartum depression following the birth of a child. Up to 10% will experience depression or anxiety during pregnancy. When the mental health of the mother is compromised, it affects the entire family.

Services: Men and women outpatient services and SATOP are available. Both group and Individual counseling is available on an outpatient basis. Additionally, educational groups and relapse prevention are available through Outpatient services. All services are driven by an individual treatment plan, which guides the frequency and duration of services. Codependency counseling is offered to significant others, wives, family of consumers. Anger management classes are offered at each location when there are enough consumer requests to warrant developing a group.Missouri law requires all persons arrested for an alcohol- or drug- related traffic offense to complete an assessment screening at an OMU. The result of this evaluation determines the appropriate level of SATOP placement for each consumer.Fee: Offender Education Program (OEP) $130.00 Adolescent Diversion Education Program (ADEP) $130.00 Clinical Intervention Program (CIP) $1067.42 * Total Cost: The total cost for SATOP can range between $505 – $1380.91 Consumers referred to the WIP, CIP, or YCIP may complete a financial questionnaire called the Standard Means Test.
